Bridgnorth Town Juniors are committed to making sport affordable and accessible for all.
Having access to the correct kit should never stop our children being able to play. We all know how expensive it is to buy and how quickly they grow out of it. Most of it still has a lot of life left when they move to the next size up. This is where we can all help. If you've got used, outsized or just unloved boots, trainers, gloves, shin pads, warm base layers clogging up cupboards then please donate them to us.
We'll then look to recirculate them throughout the community to those that want or need them. Not only that, we’ll all be trying to do our bit to stop items ending up in a landfill. You can donate, trade up a size or just send us a request. All we ask for is a voluntary donation to help run the programme if you can – but it’s not essential – we just want kids to get out there and take part in sport!!
We are calling this programme #BOOTROOM.
What can you donate?
Used, out-grown or just unloved football boots & trainers, sports trainers, shin pads, goalkeeper gloves, base layers, etc. Just nothing damaged please.
Where can you deposit your used kit?
Just contact us through our Facebook page, phone 07813 019580 or email us bootroom@bridgnorthjfc.co.uk. You can also fill in the form below. We’ll arrange drop off or pick up. We’ll also be looking to have recycle bins available in various places you can just drop kit into.
Who can access the equipment?
Anyone - without question!!
Just contact us and we'll let you know what’s available... and if the shoe fits... just wear it!! We have received endorsement from the council so will be looking to work with them and local agencies to try and reach those that are finding times tough.
